Wenn ich bereits eine (physische) Standard-Edition in meinem Account habe und zur CE upgrade, bekomme ich dann automatisch von Blizz einen Standard-Key als Erstattung oder muss man das beantragen?

Du wirst das beantragen müssen und dabei sehr freundlich sein, denn es ist Kulanz, dass Du einen neuen Key für Deine Standard Edition bekommst, die ja bereits an Deinen Account gebunden ist.
