Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition erscheint mit allen Inhalten bis Patch 2.0.5 – „Tag 1“-Patch auf 2.0.6 geplant.

Wenn am 19. August 2014 die Ultimate Evil Edition für die aktuelle und die letzte Konsolengeneration erscheint, wird diese auf dem Stand von Diablo 3 Patch 2.0.5 sein.

Das geht auf eine Aussage des Community Managers Grimiku aus dem offiziellen Forum zurück. Auf den vor kurzem für die Pc-Version erschienenen Patch 2.0.6, werden Konsolenspieler aller Voraussicht nach aber nicht verzichten müssen. Dieser wird wahrscheinlich kurz nach der Veröffentlichung der Ultimate Evil Edition als „Tag 1“-Patch verfügbar sein.

Unklar ist allerdings, wie der Support seitens Blizzard für die Ultimate Evil Edition aussehen wird, nach dessen Veröffentlichung. Wird es z. B. weitere Inhalts-Patches geben oder sollen nur kritische Spielfehler und Bugs behoben werden? Informationen dazu wird es laut Grimiku noch vor der Veröffentlichung des Spiels am 19. August geben.

We’re still working out all the details regarding if and how Ultimate Evil Edition will be supported post-launch (e.g. will we patch the game after it ships? if yes, should we only patch to fix bugs and address critical game issues, or should we patch in new content as well? at what frequency should we patch?), so we don’t have an answer for you right now. That said, I can confirm that UEE will ship on all platforms with all updates included up to patch 2.0.5, and that there will likely be a “Day 1” patch to add in patch 2.0.6 content, too.

As we move closer to ship and finalize our post-launch patching plans, we’ll be sure to keep you updated. Great question, though!
